Intensive Home Based Therapist (IHBT)

MST is an evidence-based treatment model directed at serving youth and families involved in the juvenile justice and children welfare systems in Ashtabula, Geauga, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.


  • Provide comprehensive mental health services as required of the MST program, including integration of Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST), Mental Health Assessment, Mental Health Crisis Response, Behavioral Health Counseling/Therapy and Social Services.
  • Provide on-site and home-based individual counseling and psychotherapy services to youth and families as designated in the client’s Individual Service Plan, and in accordance with MST Model Fidelity Standards.
  • Conduct mental health assessments for children and teenagers.
  • Provide crisis response services as necessary.


  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy.
  • Current Licensure by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board as a LSW, LISW, PC, or PCC.

Behavioral Support Provider


  • Behavior Support Providers will provide behavioral health services to clients and caregivers in the home or community using a variety of therapeutic approaches as determined in the client’s individual service plan.
  • Provide mental health interventions that address symptoms, behaviors, emotions and thought processes that assist an individual in eliminating barriers to seeking or maintaining independence in personal, educational and occupational environments. This can include coordination and explanation of services identified in the plan, assistance with accessing natural support systems and linking formal community services and systems with the client and family specific to client’s mental health diagnosis.
  • Coordinate and conduct activities that increase a client’s capacity to positively impact their environment.
  • Coordination and assistance in crisis management and stabilization as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field.
  • License by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work and Marriage & Family Therapist Board preferred but not required



Cadence Care Network (formerly Homes for Kids, Inc.) is looking for part time driver to transport foster care children to locations/appointments throughout Northeast Ohio. Must have valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and full coverage insurance. Must pass background check and drug screening. Work schedule will vary and will include evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour


Cadence Care Network has an immediate opening for a master’s level Clinician to provide individual counseling/psychotherapy services to youth (children and adolescent) and families in office, home and/or community setting.

The ideal candidate for this position possesses the desire and ability to work with families and youth in a non-traditional therapeutic setting (home and community based) and within the context of a flexible schedule (whatever it takes to meet a family's needs).

Eligible candidates must possess a master’s degree and be licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board as LSW or LPC.

A partial telehealth schedule is possible.


Child Welfare Case Manager

Cadence Care Network has an opening for a Child Welfare Case Manager to facilitate and provide treatment services to youth placed in the foster care/child welfare system. The Case Manager will work with foster care families, foster care youth, and community service agencies. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree and hold a License by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board or be License Eligible. Experience in the Foster Care/Child Welfare preferred.

Youth & Family Engagement Coordinator - Ashtabula

Cadence Care Network is looking for candidate for full time employment as a Youth & Family Engagement Coordinator in Ashtabula County. This position will work directly with youth, families, schools, and communities to develop partnerships and empower parents and community stakeholders such as the juvenile court, child welfare and schools to sustain family engagement and improve youth’s success.

The duties include:

· Coordinate and facilitate family engagement team meetings; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders

· Proactive outreach to engage parents and community stakeholders to build relationships and establish ongoing communication in the effort to increase family engagement efforts in Ashtabula County

· Complete assessments/screenings with youth as they engage with the Ashtabula Juvenile Court Family Resource Center (within 12 hours of engagement or next business day for weekends or holidays) and provide written recommendations for treatment to the court that may include mental health interventions that address a young person's symptom, behaviors, emotions, and thought processes

· Attend court hearings as necessary to assist youth and family

· Assist youth and family in eliminating barriers and specifically behaviors that lead to juvenile court involvement, and or social service supports that impact the young person and their family directly

· Provide face-to-face individual and family psychotherapy services to youth and families in office, home and/or community as designated in client’s individual service plan.

· Conduct Mental Health Assessments and provide treatment recommendations in addition to diagnosing and treating clients

· Develop, complete, implement, and review individual service plan for clients as required by Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services rules and Cadence Care Network policy.'
