Sexually Abusive Behavior Treatment
This six-phase, multisystemic program helps our young clients reconcile issues attached to sexual trauma they may have experienced or sexually abusive behaviors they may have perpetrated.
Cadence Care Network is certified by the State of Ohio Department of Youth Services to provide assessment, treatment and transition services to youth who are registered sex offenders or exhibiting sexually abusive behavior.
Upon entering this intensive program, participants engage in the following:
Individual Therapy
Provides coping skills, assists in restructuring negative thoughts and behaviors, and provides an outline for successful completion of phase work.
Gender-Specific Group Therapy
Through facilitator and peer support, provides the opportunity to confront personally destructive behaviors, learn healthy responses to difficult situations and celebrate success.
Case Management Services
Provides education to the family, conducts family meetings, reinforces parents’ role as primary caretaker, manages the client’s transition plan and monitor’s compliance with that plan.
